In Kitchen modulars the plumbing & electrical 1st
fix is carried out. Protection is applied to all items
that may be vulnerable to damage during the production
process. Duct area’s are lined with external boarding
to comply with fire regulations, and any area’s
where sound attenuation have to be addressed, are also
lined out. In the case of Kitchens the complete kitchen
including worktops are fitted at this stage.
The
next stage of production is the fitting of the wall and
floor cladding. Should it be the case that ceramics are
to be applied to the wall and floor then in order to enhance
the tanking detail, the wall tiles must be laid on top
of the floor tile, as opposed to
the floor tiles butting up against the wall tile. Various
other applications can be utilised on both floors and
walls, such as, Sheet Vinyl, ceramic, wood or even marble
and of course simply paint.
